Get With The Program

Ceremony Programs are very popular these days since it is a wonderful way to introduce your Wedding Party and also give your guests a way to following along with the ceremony. This is especially important if your wedding is very cultural and is quite different than a traditional Christian ceremony - such as a Greek Orthodox wedding, it's nice to explain the meanings behind the symbolism, prayers, hymns, etc. The basic layout of a program is to include the bride and groom's names, wedding date, location and time. Then the Wedding Party's names, roles in the ceremony (i.e. Maid of Honour) and it's also a special touch to include their relationship to the bride or groom (i.e. Childhood Friend of the Bride). Ceremony Programs make a nice memento of the wedding day for both the couple getting married and guests alike.
