Hello wonderful Bella Blog readers! First of all, huge apologies for my delinquent status on the blog posting front! I've been super busy with lots of exciting things that I'd like to share with you.
Without much further ado - I'd like to announce that I am now doing Wedding Photography, visual arts and photography has always been a passion for me and now alongside Bella Invites, my photography business: "Corina V. Photography" has launched and accepting limited assignments for 2010 and now accepting bookings for 2011 & 2012 season! Now I can happily answer those brides who have asked me if I also photograph weddings (not just families and babies) the answer is "yes"! You can also check out the latest photos on my blog.
I am also excited to share the news that we have some brand new wedding invitation designs. Gorgeous silk gatefold folios that come in a wide variety of silk shades and either with a beautiful puffy silk bow closure (Design called "Pure") or with the sparkly "bling" embellishments (Design called "Grace"). If you would like more information about these brand new designs, please contact me. I will be posting more photos of them very soon! Here is a photo of "Pure" in pink silk...feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think!
I'm going to be posting some new images of the beautiful weddings we recently designed invites and wedding stationery for very soon! Stay tuned...

Bella Invites in Weddingbells - Font Story
Hello everyone!
We're back to blog posting, it has been a while since my last update but we've been super busy around here with hot new designs and a second business venture as well - Wedding Photography! (more about that exciting news in the next blog post)!
This post is about a recent Weddingbells feature about fonts and their different personalities. I was honoured to be asked by the magazine to be a contributor to this informative article.
Yes, fonts all convey different messages and can really change the way a wedding invitation looks and is perceived by your guests. Fonts can be casual, formal, modern, romantic - the possibilities are endless and that's why I always recommend choosing a wonderful font for your invitation to jazz it up and convey the tone of your special day.

Ralph Lauren & Bella Invites
So when a journalist from New York contacted me a couple of weeks ago mentioning that she was writing an article for Ralph Lauren's on-line magazine and wanted to interview me...I thought Christmas had definitely come early!! Wow, what an honour!
When I finally picked my jaw off the floor, I said I'd LOVE to be a part of it! Check it out below. It's all about holiday invitations (I know, I'm a bit late posting it....but you can use these ideas for next time, right?)

Bella Invites in WedLuxe
I love, love, LOVE this hot new issue of WedLuxe! It's the Winter/Spring 2010 issue - and doesn't the cover just say "pure glam elegance"??!! It hit news stands this week, so if you are a bride who loves gorgeousness (and who doesn't?) I suggest you rush out and scoop one up!
Plus - I'm so thrilled to let you know that we were asked by the super talented event designer Cindy Johnson from Platinum Events Group to participate in an exclusive Ralph Lauren-inspired wedding photoshoot! So of course we said "YES"!
Check out these photos, clean lines, classy nautical accents, white and navy blue with hits of yellow....so airy and fresh looking! If you are getting married anyway near a lake or ocean, this look would be perfect.
Here is a close up of the "tea-length" invitation and monogram that we designed, it features a simple compass motif.
Monogram printed on the chair cover....and close up of the Place Cards (with a bit of "bling" of course!)
Here is a list of the other talented players involved in making this shoot possible:
Producer & Planner: Cindy Johnson - Platinum Events Group
Photographer: John Edgar
Cake: The Caketress
Floral Design & Decor: Fuscia Designs
Location: Palais Royale
A big thank you to Cindy Johnson and WedLuxe magazine asking us to be a part of this story! xoxo

Bella Invites in weddingbells
Ok, so I couldn't wait an entire day to post this because I'm so excited about the feature story that weddingbells asked us to be a part of! First of all it's in the 25th Anniversary Spring/Summer issue - on newstands this week!
We were asked to design something deep purple with "blingy" accents (Hello! that's our favourite thing to do!!) and make it look super swanky and elegant. We are so thrilled with the photos, I love the warm and romantic feel of them.
Check out our Place Cards, Round Menus with satin ribbon band & crystal square buckles and our "Sweet Table" signage. If you are a bride who wants to do something different with her table decor a round Menu on the charger plate is a great idea!
More exciting press coming up in the next post!
Excitement in the Air!
Hey All!
Just wanted to let you know that I have lots of exciting new projects, designs, changes to inform you all about in the coming weeks...so stay tuned!
I think 2010 is going to be a fabulous year for everyone, what a great year to get married in!
Since a post is just boring without a photo - here is a little "sneak peek" of a Menu we designed for a feature story in the new 25th Anniversary issue of weddingbells Magazine - on stands this week! I'll be posting the entire story tomorrow!
