Bella Invites in WedLuxe
I love, love, LOVE this hot new issue of WedLuxe! It's the Winter/Spring 2010 issue - and doesn't the cover just say "pure glam elegance"??!! It hit news stands this week, so if you are a bride who loves gorgeousness (and who doesn't?) I suggest you rush out and scoop one up!
Plus - I'm so thrilled to let you know that we were asked by the super talented event designer Cindy Johnson from Platinum Events Group to participate in an exclusive Ralph Lauren-inspired wedding photoshoot! So of course we said "YES"!
Check out these photos, clean lines, classy nautical accents, white and navy blue with hits of yellow....so airy and fresh looking! If you are getting married anyway near a lake or ocean, this look would be perfect.
Here is a close up of the "tea-length" invitation and monogram that we designed, it features a simple compass motif.
Monogram printed on the chair cover....and close up of the Place Cards (with a bit of "bling" of course!)
Here is a list of the other talented players involved in making this shoot possible:
Producer & Planner: Cindy Johnson - Platinum Events Group
Photographer: John Edgar
Cake: The Caketress
Floral Design & Decor: Fuscia Designs
Location: Palais Royale
A big thank you to Cindy Johnson and WedLuxe magazine asking us to be a part of this story! xoxo

Bella Invites in weddingbells
Ok, so I couldn't wait an entire day to post this because I'm so excited about the feature story that weddingbells asked us to be a part of! First of all it's in the 25th Anniversary Spring/Summer issue - on newstands this week!
We were asked to design something deep purple with "blingy" accents (Hello! that's our favourite thing to do!!) and make it look super swanky and elegant. We are so thrilled with the photos, I love the warm and romantic feel of them.
Check out our Place Cards, Round Menus with satin ribbon band & crystal square buckles and our "Sweet Table" signage. If you are a bride who wants to do something different with her table decor a round Menu on the charger plate is a great idea!
More exciting press coming up in the next post!
Excitement in the Air!
Hey All!
Just wanted to let you know that I have lots of exciting new projects, designs, changes to inform you all about in the coming weeks...so stay tuned!
I think 2010 is going to be a fabulous year for everyone, what a great year to get married in!
Since a post is just boring without a photo - here is a little "sneak peek" of a Menu we designed for a feature story in the new 25th Anniversary issue of weddingbells Magazine - on stands this week! I'll be posting the entire story tomorrow!

Write Style
We recently completed a stylish pink personalized stationery set for Suzanne Rogers (with letterhead and matching pink envelopes) for all of her handwritten correspondence. In a world of "virtual communication" it's so refreshing to receive a beautiful handwritten note! You may remember the custom handmade silk wedding invitation we designed for her wedding to Edward Rogers a few years ago?
This is a perfect example of how you can actually use your custom monogram (which we designed for them) even after the wedding. You can get stationery made or print it on your towels, on your luggage, etc. It's an elegant and timeless way of celebrating your union - even years later!
Booklet Thank You Card
Hello loyal Bella Blog fans, sooo sorry for the lack of posts in the last month - we have been crazy busy over here filling Christmas card orders.
Don't worry I'm going to be much more diligent with my posts, I have a lot to catch you all up on!
Starting with this super pretty "Booklet" style Thank You card that we designed for Kris & Stephen this Summer. They had an amazing wedding in Vancouver in August with a reception at The Terminal City Club and it was coordinated by the super talented Soha Lavin of Countdown Events. We printed the same pretty floral images in the card that we used for the invitation and then punched a hole and tied a nice thin satin ribbon to secure the pages. It's very simple and it's great if you have a lot of people to thank!

New Design - "Golden Palm"
As promised, here are the close-ups of the new "Golden Palm" design that was recently featured on CityTV's "Breakfast Television". This new "Prestige Collection" design has raised gold and turquoise ink and a beautiful pearl embellishment in the monogram - perfect for that swanky & luxurious destination wedding!

Featured on Breakfast Television!
What a way to start the day! I turned on CityTv's Breakfast Television - Toronto this morning to see our friend and wedding planner extraordinaire Cindy Johnson from Platinum Events Group chatting with Dina on TV about our luxury destination weddings and our wedding invitations! Cindy was showing our new luxury wedding invitation "Golden Palm" in a gold silk box with crystal buckle and inside the invitation has a gold palm tree motif, seahorses and a monogram in a shell....to top it all off it has a tiny pearl inside the shell. We love you Cindy! Stay tuned for close-up photos of the invite to come this week!

Featured in WedLuxe Magazine!
Ok, so I thought it was amazing to have my invitation designs featured in WedLuxe Magazine in previous issues. However now in the Summer/Fall 2009 issue they have my photo, my invitation and a one-on-one interview! How cool is that? I am one of the featured "hottest stationery designers in Toronto" for their "Designer Girls" article.
They asked some great personal questions such as my favorite ice cream (vanilla, such a classic!) to which fashion designer inspires me (John Galliano for Dior, LOVE him!)
I'm beyond flattered, thank you so much to everyone at this gorgeous publication for the feature - it's an absolute honor! xoxo Corina

Tiffany & George - Palm Beach Wedding
We are currently knee-deep in wedding orders at the moment - but I wanted to share with you some photos from a stunning wedding that we had the pleasure of working on:
These pics feature the upscale wedding of Tiffany Spadafora & George Cloutier from Palm Beach, Florida and it took place at The Breakers Hotel on New Year's Eve. Sound elegant? Well, check out the gorgeous photos by Miami-based top wedding photographer Carlos Baez.
Tiffany's color scheme was of course..."Tiffany" blue everywhere! She loved our "Tiffany" silk box invitation design from our "Prestige Collection" and we customized it especially for her...including each invite receiving a fragrant spritz of Tiffany & Co. perfume! We also designed a custom monogram featuring their first initials and last name initial as well.
The lavish soiree that was featured in the March 2009 issue of Palm Beach Illustrated, this wedding had it all: midnight fireworks that shot out of the imported white tulip centerpieces, dancers, masquerade ball and Tiffany & Co. gifts for the guests! Congratulations Tiffany & George!

Jasmin & Sean Wedding Pics
Remember Jasmin & Sean's "blingtastic" wedding at Casa Loma in Toronto? We designed silk boxed wedding invitations in lavender with lilac cardstock invite and cards printed with gold raised printing? Well, we finally have their gorgeous wedding photos in our hot little hands - shot by none other than the artists over at 5ive15ifteen.
We designed a custom monogram for them featuring leaves intertwined with scrolling banners, they loved it so much they used it throughout their entire wedding (exactly how a monogram should be used!) This created a seamless and elegant look for their wedding details!
Custom favour tags...
Elegant "tea-length" menu, perfect for tucking into the napkin..
Dramatic ice sculpture bar, how amazing is the lighting?!
Don't forget to put your monogram on the cocktail napkins...it's all about the details.
Table Names are such a great way to add personalization to your table, so much more fun than just a Number. Jasmin and Sean used different names of the cities that they had travelled to together...how romantic! Notice the "bling" inside of the monograms on the Table Name cards!
Seating Chart that is large enough to read but not overpowering...also had a "bling" stone in the monogram....
For more of Jasmin & Sean's beautiful wedding photos, you can check out our Featured Weddings section of our website. Photos will be posted by Friday!
Moving Eye Candy
Soooo sorry for the tardy blog entries (that's an understatement)! However, 'tis wedding season and we are super busy round here lately, which is a good thing. Now I'm going to take some time to catch up with informing you about beautiful wedding things (I have lots up my sleeves)!
Jenny & Leo from Justin Fone on Vimeo.
So to start here is an amazing wedding cinematography company that's based in California - called Justin Fone Productions. His work is amazing, he really captures every detail and any bride would LOVE to have their special day documented by him, he has been featured in Brides magazines and awarded Best Wedding Videographer by The San Francisco Chronicle!Friday, May 1, 2009
Photo Friday - John Rozier
The talented Photographer John Rozier contacted me the other day to share some of his gorgeous eye-candy wedding photos. I love the way he captures every detail of the day in such a beautiful way, if I was the bride I'd want to frame every single image! Good news brides, he specializes in destination weddings too! For recent photo sessions, check out his : blog.

Hello Dolly!
Ok, so I haven't purchased a Barbie for myself in a very long time - however, I stumbled across the "Vera Wang Romanticist Bride Barbie" and I'm in LOVE! She is absolute perfection from her elegant up-do to the stunning Vera Wang gown she is proudly sporting! Can you believe that only 8,900 have been produced worldwide?! Time to shop for Barbies again ladies...I'm not sure if my old Ken doll is worthy of marrying this one though...

East Hill Photo
So sorry for the absence of posts recently, we are currently working on some hot new designs that will be making their debut VERY soon! To keep your wedding inspiration flowing, check out these gorgeous photos from Pensacola-based East Hill Photo. Their photos are absolutely stunning and they were the photographers who shot a past clients' wedding back in October - remember Kerry Anne and Steve's elegant tented beach reception?
