I Do Hair Do's

Up, down, half-up....there are so many options when it comes to wedding hair! The best option is to go with something that works for you and that still looks like you (not an overly hairsprayed librarian bun!!) and it has to work for the setting, formal in a church or casual beach hair. The key is to have a Hair Trial and ask your stylist to try out a variety of options (bring lots of photos!) and have a friend snap some photos for you to decide and to use as your hair guide! Impressive Preston

I was just checking out Preston Bailey's Blog and saw this amazing outdoor floral peacock "sculpture" that he designed for an exhibit at Covent Garden in London England. It is absolutely breathtaking, this man can design anything out of flowers, pure petal genius!

Seaside Sophistication

Taryn and Marvin's June wedding will be at the gorgeous water-side Belle Mer in Newport, Rhode Island. Taryn loved the "Fleur-de-Lis" design but wanted to change the color scheme, so we introduced silver raised ink, pale blush ribbon, soft silver vellum belly band and a lovely cardstock backing that has an iridescent sheen to it. The result is a unique and elegant design that reflect the couple's personality and the refined simplicity of the wedding location.

Garnet Glamour

Here is another of our recent designs - Charu and Bryan wanted something very special for their weddings invitation, they wanted it to be a gift to their guests. We ended up with a unique custom design featuring a garnet red Dupioni silk folio with gold satin ribbon and "bling" jewel and inside was the invitation and stacked reply and information cards. The invitation was printed with black raised ink on gold cardstock. We based design motif on the Mehndi designs that are painted on the bride's hands with henna ink in Hindu wedding tradition.
